Back in 2013 when I started out as a professional Makeup Artist and a few years down the line, the market became ubiquitous and I got lost in the very saturated beauty market and then, a business that I was so passionate about suddenly became my nightmare.

I realised quickly that I could no longer peg my price, and I was at the mercy of the price that the market was willing to offer me. This made me very frustrated and unhappy.

I started searching for ways to stand out and serve only those who were willing to pay me the amount that I am worth. I realised that doing this in the Makeup industry kept me constantly on my toes and in the hustle, which was wearing me out, so I dusted off my esthetician hat and discovered how to stand out as an expert in my field. I was finally able to charge my worth and name my price in the marketplace.
